Mobile Google Search Showing Realtime Tweets. What’s in Store for Twitter Now?

Google’s mobile search now gives an extra boost to those who tweet regularly.

After the recent change in search algorithm, websites that are mobile friendly are enjoying higher ranks in Google’s mobile search. And now, Google also shows tweets on your search on a mobile phone or tablets.

“It’s a great way to get real-time info when something is happening. And it’s another way for organizations and people on Twitter to reach a global audience at the most relevant moments,” was posted by Ardan Arac, senior product manager for Google, wrote in a blog post.

For example if you search for President Obama, or Jay Z, their most recent tweets will show up in the results. To find everything about what NASA is tweeting you need to simply search with “NASA Twitter”.
