1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?

Note on legacy technologies: Earlier versions of this policy referred to “Flash cookies” or “Local Shared Objects” (LSOs). Adobe Flash Player was discontinued in 2020 and is no longer supported by any modern browser. We do not use Flash-based technologies, and references to them have been removed from this policy. If you still have legacy Flash content on an unsupported device, you should remove it, as it is no longer maintained or secure.

2. WHY WE USE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

5.4 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Where required by applicable law (for example, under certain U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA), we honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and similar browser-based universal opt-out mechanisms, as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser and device. Where such a legally recognized signal applies, our Websites will treat it as an opt-out for the applicable cookie categories for that browser.

6. OUR CONSENT STANDARD

We are committed to obtaining valid consent before placing non-essential cookies or using similar tracking technologies on your device:

Prior consent. India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Where consent is the basis, it is free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous, given by clear affirmative action, and you may withdraw it at any time with the same ease. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

For visitors in other jurisdictions, we apply the consent standard required by applicable local law and, as a matter of policy, aim to provide the same level of transparency and choice described in this section to all visitors.

7. TARGETED ADVERTISING

8. OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

8.1 Web Beacons in Emails

Emails we send may contain a small, invisible graphic image or pixel (a “web beacon”) that tells us whether you have opened the email and whether you clicked on any links within it. We use this information to measure the effectiveness of our communications, to improve their relevance, and to manage our subscriber lists. If you do not want these beacons to be downloaded onto your device, you can configure your email client to disable automatic image loading, read emails in plain text, or unsubscribe from our marketing emails using the link in every message. Transactional and service-related emails may still be sent where necessary.

8.2 Log Files

Our web servers automatically record certain information when you visit our Websites, such as your IP address, browser type and settings, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. This information is recorded in server log files and is used for security monitoring, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and aggregate usage analysis. 9. DO NOT TRACK

If a binding DNT standard is adopted in the future, we will review and update this policy and our practices accordingly.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies and technologies we use, changes to our practices, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.

When we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice, which may include a notice on our Websites or an updated consent request through our Cookie Consent Manager, and we will seek fresh consent where required by law. We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and similar technologies.
